WEEK 03 - SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

 TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 03  This week was a joyful and engaging one as the school celebrated Christmas, followed by the Christmas holidays. I actively and keenly participated in the Christmas celebrations along with the students and teachers, which included various cultural programmes and festive activities. Being part of the celebration helped me build a friendly rapport with the students and understand the importance of co-curricular activities in creating a positive and inclusive school environment. During this same week, I also had my semester examinations, so I came to college to write them and then returned to the school to continue my teaching practice. Balancing both academic responsibilities and school activities was challenging but meaningful. It helped me manage my time effectively and maintain commitment towards both my professional training and personal academic growth.

WEEK 02: SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

 TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 02  This week was mainly focused on supporting the school during the Christmas examinations, where I actively engaged in helping and managing the examination process along with the faculty members. I assisted in duties such as arranging the examination halls, invigilation, guiding students, maintaining discipline, and ensuring that the overall conduct of the exams was smooth and systematic. Being part of this process helped me understand the responsibilities of a teacher beyond classroom teaching, especially in terms of organization, time management, and coordination with staff and students. Along with the examination duties, I also utilized the remaining time to prepare for my teaching practice and academic work. I worked on developing lesson plans, preparing teaching aids, and revising subject content to improve my effectiveness as a future teacher. WEEK 01: SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

 TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 01 (DEC 12) In the first week of my second phase teaching practice, I was assigned to the same class as in phase one. This helped me feel more comfortable because I was already familiar with the students, their learning styles, and the classroom environment. During this week, our school organized a plant distribution campaign titled "Chagathik Oru Thai" (A Sapling for a Friend). The purpose of this campaign was to encourage students to plant trees, take care of the environment, and understand the importance of greenery in our daily lives. I actively participated in the campaign by distributing saplings to each student, explaining how to plant them properly, and encouraging them to take responsibility for nurturing the plants at home or in the school garden.
