WEEK 08- First Phase Teaching Practice

TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 08 (22/09/2025 - 26/09/2025) During the eighth week of teaching practice, college teachers visited the school for optional subject observation. Their visit provided valuable guidance and feedback on teaching methods, classroom management, and lesson execution. This observation helped me reflect on my teaching practices and identify areas for improvement. In the same week, a science exhibition was conducted in the school. Students actively participated by presenting models, experiments, and innovative ideas. The exhibition encouraged curiosity, creativity, and the practical application of scientific concepts, highlighting the importance of experiential learning.

TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 07 (15/09/2025 - 19/09/2025) During the seventh week of teaching practice, I conducted an awareness class on health and hygiene for students. The session focused on the importance of personal cleanliness, healthy habits, and maintaining a hygienic environment. Students actively participated in the discussion, making the class interactive and informative. In the same week, a Fire and Rescue awareness class was conducted by Fire and Rescue officers. The session educated students on fire safety measures, emergency response, and basic rescue techniques. WEEK 06 - First Phase Teaching Practice

TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 06 (08/09/2025 - 12/09/2025) The sixth week of teaching practice involved responsibilities related to both academic and administrative activities. I assisted in the distribution of Onam examination question papers, ensuring that the process was carried out smoothly and in accordance with school procedures. This duty helped me understand the importance of confidentiality and systematic organization during examinations. In addition, PTA meetings were conducted during this week. Observing these meetings provided insight into the collaborative relationship between parents and teachers in supporting students’ academic progress and overall development. I also attended staff meetings, which offered valuable exposure to professional discussions, planning, and decision-making processes within the school. Week 6 enhanced my understanding of school administration, teacher collaboration, and parent–teacher interaction.
