WEEK 11- First Phase Teaching Practice

 TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 11 (13/10/2025 - 17/10/2025)

The eleventh week of teaching practice was a highly engaging and active week as the school was selected to participate in the Sub-District Science Exhibition. As a result, extensive preparations were carried out throughout the week. Students and teachers worked collaboratively in planning, organizing, and refining science projects, models, and exhibits.

I actively assisted students during the preparation process by guiding them in arranging materials, improving presentations, and explaining scientific concepts clearly. This phase helped enhance students’ confidence, creativity, and teamwork, while also giving me valuable experience in mentoring learners beyond regular classroom teaching.

The Sub-District Science Exhibition was conducted on Thursday and Friday. Students presented their projects enthusiastically and demonstrated strong scientific understanding and communication skills. Observing and supporting this event highlighted the importance of experiential learning and inquiry-based education in science. Overall, Week 11 was enriching and memorable, contributing significantly to my professional growth and reinforcing the value of co-curricular academic activities in school education.

The purpose of this campaign was to encourage students to plant trees, take care of the environment, and understand the importance of greenery in our daily lives. I actively participated in the campaign by distributing saplings to each student, explaining how to plant them properly, and encouraging them to take responsibility for nurturing the plants at home or in the school garden. I also helped the students understand the benefits of trees, such as providing oxygen, shade, and supporting wildlife. This activity helped me develop my communication and leadership skills, as I ha...
