WEEK 10 First Phase Teaching Practice

 TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 10 (06/10/2025 - 10/10/2025)

The tenth week of teaching practice was marked by several academic and co-curricular activities. During this week, students participated in sports events conducted at G. V. Raja Sports School. The programme encouraged physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students, while also providing exposure to organized inter-school level sports facilities.

In the same week, the JRC (Junior Red Cross) examination was conducted in the school. I assisted in examination-related duties and observed the systematic procedures followed during the conduct of the exam. This experience helped me understand the importance of discipline, planning, and responsibility in examination management. Additionally, the school celebrated Arts Day over three days—Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Students actively took part in various cultural programmes, showcasing their talents in music, dance, drama, and other art forms. The event promoted creativity, confidence, and cultural appreciation among students.

The purpose of this campaign was to encourage students to plant trees, take care of the environment, and understand the importance of greenery in our daily lives. I actively participated in the campaign by distributing saplings to each student, explaining how to plant them properly, and encouraging them to take responsibility for nurturing the plants at home or in the school garden. I also helped the students understand the benefits of trees, such as providing oxygen, shade, and supporting wildlife.
