WEEK 06 - First Phase Teaching Practice

 TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 06 (08/09/2025 - 12/09/2025)

The sixth week of teaching practice involved responsibilities related to both academic and administrative activities. I assisted in the distribution of Onam examination question papers, ensuring that the process was carried out smoothly and in accordance with school procedures. This duty helped me understand the importance of confidentiality and systematic organization during examinations.

In addition, PTA meetings were conducted during this week. Observing these meetings provided insight into the collaborative relationship between parents and teachers in supporting students’ academic progress and overall development.

I also attended staff meetings, which offered valuable exposure to professional discussions, planning, and decision-making processes within the school. Week 6 enhanced my understanding of school administration, teacher collaboration, and parent–teacher interaction.

I also helped the students understand the benefits of trees, such as providing oxygen, shade, and supporting wildlife. This activity helped me develop my communication and leadership skills, as I ha...
