TEACHING PRACTICE : PHASE 01

As part of our teacher education program, I undertook my teaching practice at GVHSS Vellanad on 14th July 2025. This opportunity provided a real classroom environment to apply the pedagogical theories and strategies learned during training. The experience allowed me to interact directly with students, manage a classroom, and deliver subject content effectively. Vellanad School offered a supportive and enriching atmosphere where I could enhance my teaching skills, adapt to diverse learning needs, and receive valuable feedback from experienced mentors. This practice marked an important step in my journey toward becoming a reflective and professional education.

Our phase one teaching practice started on 14th July 2025 to 17th October 2025. It is conducted in two sessions, that is first session is from 14th July to 14th August and the second session from 8th September to 17th October 2025.

I actively participated in the campaign by distributing saplings to each student, explaining how to plant them properly, and encouraging them to take responsibility for nurturing the plants at home or in the school garden. I also helped the students understand the benefits of trees, such as providing oxygen, shade, and supporting wildlife.
