OCTOBER 04- ART GALLERY VISIT

As part of our B.Ed curriculum, we had the opportunity to visit the Sri Chithra Art Gallery and the Napier Museum in Thiruvananthapuram. The experience was both enriching and memorable. A major highlight was viewing the breathtaking paintings of Raja Ravi Varma—his lifelike expressions and mythological themes left a lasting impression. The gallery also featured works by other renowned artists and showcased traditional Indian art forms, deepening our appreciation for the richness of our cultural heritage.

The Napier Museum, with its fascinating antique collections and stunning architectural design, added to the charm of the visit. Overall, the trip was not only educational but also truly inspiring, reinforcing the importance of art in the context of teaching and learning.
