ICT in Education

 Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education refers to the use of computers, tablets, and the internet to help students and teachers learn and teach.


ICT enables students to access a vast pool of information. Online databases, e-books, and educational websites provide a wealth of knowledge at students’ fingertips, and it promotes self-directed learning and encourages a curiosity-driven approach to education.

WEEK 01: SECOND PHASE TEACHING PRACTICE

 TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 01 (DEC 12) In the first week of my second phase teaching practice, I was assigned to the same class as in phase one. This helped me feel more comfortable because I was already familiar with the students, their learning styles, and the classroom environment. During this week, our school organized a plant distribution campaign titled "Chagathik Oru Thai" (A Sapling for a Friend). The purpose of this campaign was to encourage students to plant trees, take care of the environment, and understand the importance of greenery in our daily lives. I actively participated in the campaign by distributing saplings to each student, explaining how to plant them properly, and encouraging them to take responsibility for nurturing the plants at home or in the school garden.
